  8. Launch is a handy utility for Windows which lets you start programs directly
  9. from the Windows desktop without having to go through the program manager or
  10. file manager.  Your favorite programs are only one mouse click away!
  11.  
  12. Installation is a snap- just copy Launch to your hard disk.  Launch will
  13. create a default menu the first time it runs (or anytime it cannot find
  14. LAUNCH.INI).  You can install Launch in your WIN.INI or SYSTEM.INI so it will
  15. load automatically.  The online help contains more detailed instructions.

  17. Once Launch is installed just click the left mouse button once over the empty
  18. desktop.  Your Launch menu will pop up automatically.

  20. Please feel free to distribute this program to others.  Just be careful and
  21. remember to include both files (LAUNCH.EXE and LAUNCH.TXT) together in the
  22. archive.

  24. The organization of the Launch INI file has changed in this version so if you
  25. are upgrading from an earlier version of Launch I recommend that you erase
  26. your old LAUNCH.INI and let Launch build a new one for you.

  28. I have put a lot of time into Launch and have made it available as shareware.
  29. If you use Launch please take the time to send in your registration.  The
  30. cost is only $25 (3,000 yen in Japan).  Don't forget to include your name,
  31. address and product version number.  Site licenses are also available.
  32. Checks can be drawn on an American or Japanese bank.

  39.                Windows Recorder with Launch.  Investigation revealed that
  40.                Recorder was engaging in the bizarre act of sending a
  41.                left-mouse-button-press message through the Windows desktop
  42.                whenever a macro was executed (which naturally caused Launch
  43.                to pop up).  I added a check to determine if the mouse button
  44.                press was genuine.
